Internet issues

So, I've been actually attempting to maintain a normal timeframe and return our podcast to normalcy or some semblance of that, but life is out to get me!

We had a set date to record the podcast, and I have a plan to upload every Monday.

Weds., my router started acting up. Dropping our connection every ~4-5 hours or so, nothing major, a minor inconvenience.

Thursday it became every 30 minutes, with intervals of 10-15 minutes.

I called someone to check it out this morning, we're doing what we can, but my internet stability is essentially null. This means two things:

1) I can't record the podcast because more or less every 10 minutes I'll be dropped from the call
2) Xenoblade Chronicles X will be impossible for me to play because I'm a goddamned idiot and didn't think the internet issues were a serious problem when I bought it digitally, and thought it'd be far more convenient than making a trip to Walmart. I wasn't aware that Nintendo had a terrible download management system in place for lost connections, as on Steam or the PSN, losing my connection every 10 minutes would be an issue, but it'd auto-resume with little issue.

On the Wii U, however, losing connection typically results in the Data being corrupted.

I've dropped off my Wii U at my dads house right now, and I'll go pick it up in a few hours when Xenoblade (should) be done. Hopefully. God, please, let it just download without a hitch.

I don't know when I'll have my internet issues fixed properly and be able to record the podcast. The Technician said he'd either visit me Saturday or Monday, so I'm going to assume it'll be a Monday... If it's an issue he can resolve and it's done by Saturday, then no worries! Everything will be gravy and we'll record the podcast with our without Kupo, and it'll go up Monday as scheduled.

If it turns out I need a replacement router (as is often the case with AT&T and their garbage proprietary routers) then it could be a few days to a week or more for the replacement to show up and everything to be situated properly, meaning there'd be no podcast THIS week, but possibly one next week.

All in all, life is constantly finding ways to kick me in the balls.
