P.T. scared the crap out of me.

I don't post much about horror games on this blog, because horror games typically bore me. I've played pretty much every horror game on the market, and none of them have gripped me. It's always predictable, or there are jump scares. There hasn't been a true psychological horror game in a long, long time..

Until recently.

P.T. was released (playable teaser, is what P.T. stands for) & it's basically a teaser for the new Silent Hills game.

It scared me so bad I had to actually pause the game and set the controller down, before I could continue. That has literally never happened to me in any game I've played in recent memory. I won't spoil what made the game so scary -- but if you're a horror fan looking for something new that will legitimately terrify you? Give P.T. a download. I literally can't talk about any aspect of the game in detail without spoiling it, but know that the game is incredibly tense, and it uses the atmosphere so perfectly.

It's unfortunately a PS4 exclusive, so if you don't have a PS4 yet, you're out of luck.. but if you do, definitely give this thing a shot. Silent Hills went from a literal nothing to "on my watch list" after P.T..

One thing I will say: Listen to the fucking radio. Listen, absorb the story, and pay very, very close attention to all the details. It's so fucking good. So. Fucking. Good.
